Enrolling a Student

Definitions:
>  Returning Students: currently attending a Gasconade County R-1 (Hermann) School.  This includes in-person or virtual. 
>  New Students: currently attending another school other than Gasconade County R-1 (Hermann) or is homeschooled or just beginning school (ex: Kindergarten). 


Returning Students:

To enroll a returning student for the 2024-2025 (begins August 20, 2024) school year, parents will log in to the Infinite 
Campus Parent Portal, click on more and then go to online registration.  Please select 24-25 for the registration year.  If you do not have a parent portal account, please contact the technology department at techsupport@hermann.k12.mo.us or 573-486-2116 ext. 1314 or ext. 1231. 

New Students to the District:
If you are enrolling your NEW TO OUR DISTRICT student for the 2024-2025 school year which begins August 20, 2024, please select 24-25 for the registration year. To enroll, please click here online enrollment. 

 If you are unable to upload any required documents necessary to enroll your child, please bring the documentation to the central office or call 573-486-2116 ext. 1302 for assistance.

You should receive an "enrollment submitted" email once your online enrollment is completed. If you are completing the enrollment process over the summer, the applications will be reviewed on a weekly basis at the beginning of each week. Upon review, you will receive an email stating we have received the application and reminding you if any more documentation is needed. Records requests will be sent on a weekly basis in June, at the beginning of each week. Any applications received the end of June and in July will not have the records requests sent out until August 1st. If you are completing the enrollment process in August, applications will be reviewed as they are submitted and records requests will be sent out within 24 hours of the review. Once required documents are received, your enrollment will show as "approved". When the building counselor receives school records (if applicable), they will be in touch with families to finalize your student's enrollment and schedule. If enrolling over the summer, this could be closer to the new school year.
